Most of the program is jail related, with some law enforcement functions. The applicable policies and job description is attached.
We don’t do this at our agency because Alachua County does it on our behalf. The program is called Alert Alachua Here’s a link to their program so you can see what they offer:
We have a combined communications center that dispatches for city and county law enforcement and fire rescue, but we have been combined for some time. (2001). Just let me know if you would like me to set up a tour/visit and I’ll be glad to help.
