Could you please provide me your policy verbiage on restrictions for false eyelashes (if you have any) and nails (no polish, only natural colors, length, etc.). Or let me know if you don’t specify at all.

    Thank you all!

We do not have verbiage related to eyelashes. Below is the verbiage related to nails:

    Fingernails

    1. Fingernails (male) will be conservatively trimmed to no longer than the tip of the finger.

    2. Fingernails or acrylic nails (female) will be conservatively trimmed to no longer than one quarter inch past the tip of the finger. Only neutral fingernail polish may be worn.

Below is an excerpt from our policy, and we do not address false eyelashes. Hope this helps!

Female deputies’ fingernails or acrylic nails shall be conservatively trimmed to no longer than one eighth (1/8) inch past the tip of the finger. Only clear fingernail polish may be worn.

We don’t speak to eyelashes. We do speak to fingernails. . . See attached policy pages 4-5.

Below is what our Uniform Standards policy states for fingernail polish:

Non-issued items of dress that detract from the professional appearance of the person or uniform are prohibited. These items include, but are not limited to:
    a. Extreme or excessive makeup.
    b. Exceptionally long fingernails, patterned or exceptionally bright fingernail polish.
    c. Perfumes and colognes which could be distracting or offensive to co-workers or the public.

We do not have anything in policy for eyelashes.

    God bless

Good afternoon! We do not have anything specific to lashes but here is our policy on nails.

Fingernails, natural or acrylic/gel, shall be kept trimmed to a length that will not extend past the fingertips. Fingernail polish, if worn, may be in colors and/or designs which do not detract from a professional appearance. Bright or ultraviolet colors are prohibited.
