Good afternoon,
Could anyone please provide their agency’s law enforcement new hire program hours prior to their release from FTO.
Is there a hourly difference for newly certified sworn law enforcement (just out of the academy) and previously certified with experience?

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office120 hours in the mini academy
200 hours for the patrol academy
160 hours for Phase I Field Training
160 hours for Phase II Field Training
160 hours for Phase III Field Training
80 hours for Final Phase Field TrainingSomeone with prior experience, if approved, may be accelerated to solo after the 160 hours in Phase I Field Training. (Case by case scenario)
