Hello. Lake Co. SO has a pretty robust therapy dog program. We have three handlers, all of them put their personally owned dogs through Paws and Stripes training at the department expense and bring their dogs with them to work. Currently they are all assigned to our School Resource unit but that is not a requirement. I attached our policy, we do not have a job description so far.

For example we had a case where there were so many documents to review it would have taken several hours so everything was provided on a thumb drive to be reviewed prior to coming in for interview. We do not have a policy specifically outlining that however.

Hello,
We have one in our Communications/EOC building. It doubles as a nursing mother’s room. We do not have a written policy on it however. We reached out to one of our larger hospitals in the area for sponsorship, they paid to have the room outfitted with furniture, a small refrigerator and decorated it.
