    Good morning,

    We’ve recently began digitally storing evidence (mainly surveillance video and in-car camera activity) via evidence.com with Axon. A question was brought up concerning chain of custody, submitting a physical copy vs. digital copy of these items. My Traffic Sergeant is asking if any agency has legal issues associated with chain of custody / digital evidence storage? He is also asking if anyone has a policy indicating digital evidence storage is allowed and if you might be willing to share?

    Hello. We use Axon products and Evidence.com for the last few years. To my knowledge we’ve had no legal issues. Our policy is attached.
