Florida Accreditation OfficeDoes anyone have a system by which their 911 or dispatch system can triage a mental health call to an on-phone crisis counselor rather than dispatching law enforcement? If so, may I see your policy?
Thank you,

Leon County Sheriff’s OfficePlease advise how your agency is informing members of the community and the public of a sexual predator’s presence (e.g., agency public website, agency social media page, reverse 911, Ever Bridge). Include any/all methods of notification. This is just for community and public notification, not child care facilities, schools, etc.
Thank you!

blounth@stluciesheriff.govHello,
Does your agency have alternative funding sources for police services besides tax revenue or general funds? For example, does your city/county include fees in building permits for law enforcement services? We’re looking for information on any practices used in other jurisdictions, and this may be unique to police departments.
If you would like to respond directly, I have listed my email and phone numbers below.
Thank you in advance,

Topic: Excessive Inmate Property
Good afternoon,
Could you please forward me your agency’s policy regarding inmate property, specifically how you determine what is excessive and how you handle it, and perhaps if someone is out of custody? We have several inmates’ belongings here that were transferred to a state mental health treatment facility as release-to-returns and they would not accept their property, so it is taking up space in our property room.
Thank you for any help you could offer!
