kbehl@alachuasheriff.orgWe have a hybrid program currently. The Motor Unit mostly operates as a special team, but there are some of the traffic units that are on the Motor Unit, so the Traffic Unit does have a motor component, but it’s not a requirement to be on the Traffic Unit.

Inter-Office Correspondence will be forwarded to the Office of Professional Standards by the employee’s Division Commander or Chief of Staff for areas

kbehl@alachuasheriff.orgWe use metal ribbons and corresponding circular pins. That way there is a uniform option and a civilian attire option. Employees can wear either depending on how they are dressed. This also allows civilians who are not issued a uniform to wear their award for those types of awards civilians are eligible to receive.
