UF has a recommendation of one “crowd manager” for every 250 folks. The PD uses that # if a more contentious or higher energy event. If expecting it to be extremely low key, the # is one officer per 600 attendees.

UFPDOur pre-read doesn’t really highlight the dispatch center, but this could be a start. It was created in Canva.
At the moment, our Professional Standards Unit is simply policy and Accreditation (both are one person). Previously, it included Internal Affairs, but the IA person got moved to CID to assist and does IA part time.
According to our training division, we are using the P320 and have no immediate plan to replace them.
Our recruits do not get a firearm until they are sworn in at the agency, after graduation and completion of high liability training. I think that they are still wearing the same academy uniform at graduation that they wore the entire academy, but I could be wrong.
