    Good afternoon,

    My chief came to me and asked that I reach out and see if there are any agencies out there that are issuing the Sig Sauer P320 as a primary handgun. If you are, are you transitioning away based off the current court ruling?

    According to our training division, we are using the P320 and have no immediate plan to replace them.

    Our agency doesn’t issue that firearm but it was authorized as an off-duty/backup. As of 8/2023, it is no longer an agency authorized off-duty/backup firearm.
