    1) We do use a PAT during the hiring process for deputy and detention deputy applicants. I have attached the waiver. The PAT information and directions start on page three.

    2) The PAT is not repeated for any employee.

    Good afternoon!

    One of our (Marion County Sheriff’s Office) Digital Forensic Techs was able to answer these questions. I will add his answers and contact info below. He mentioned he is happy to answer any follow up questions.

    1) Number of Digital Forensic Examiners
    a) Currently we have 2 assigned to the lab. The second was added in October 2022 and was released from training January of 2023. We are scheduled to add a 3rd in the next few months.

    2) Current Backlog in Months
    a) Current backlog is flexible depending on the type of case. ICAC cases usually hold the largest backlog times and they are about 12 months out.

    3) Total Devices Received in 2024
    a) As of June 2024: 197 phones; 105 computers

    4) Total Devices Received in 2023
    a) 347 phones; 178 computers analyzed

    5) Total Devices Received in 2022
    a) 270 phones; 240 computers analyzed

    6) Total Devices Received in 2021
    a) 282 Phones, 137 Computers analyzed.

    Good morning!

    Our School Crossing Guards attend a minimal/condensed orientation. We have the SCGs attend the normal orientation with all new hires, watch three videos (Bloodborne Pathogens, Sexual Harassment, and Autism Awareness), and sign off on three policies (Code of Conduct, Appearance, and Uniform). They do not take a First Aid/CPR course.
