ParticipantWe follow FDLE’s physical agility test. All sworn staff must complete it annually. Staff hired after October 1, 2017 must complete it in 6 minutes and 4 seconds. Staff hired before that day must complete it but are not required to complete it within the time frame. Any staff member that completes it in under 5 minutes receives an extra personal day as an incentive. I have attached our policy, where it is referenced in Section IV, and FDLE’s test for reference.

ParticipantWe utilize Barbicide concentrate, which is locked in our Supply area. Each unit that issues clippers has spray bottles that they fill with concentrate and the appropriate dilution of water. The concentrate is inventoried in our Supply area and the spray bottles are inventoried in each unit’s secured clipper box. Items are secured when not in use and and logged on the post log when they are issued to the inmates.
