1. We are looking for policies and contact information related to off-duty / extra-duty details. See attached.
2. How do you handle unfilled details? If no one has signed up, they push out notifications (pleas) to try to get them filled, but if they go unfilled, they aren’t staffed and the money is refunded.

Does anyone use an average of of the agency personnel’s OT rate as the cost of the detail? The base rate is an average, but it’s only calculated every few years. It’s the same rate for all employees of the same rank and then there is a surcharge for the Extra Duty program added to that fee. See the form for rates.

newly arrested inmates but shall not have any contact with any other inmate.1. Special care shall be taken for this status of arrestee to ensure that all staff is aware of the need to keep the arrestee separate from other inmates. This
shall be accomplished through documented pass-on, tagging of the inmate contact card as “PC” (protective custody), and by written report to the
Classification Unit.We have 10 Field Training Officers on the law enforcement side. They are supervised on a day to day basis by one Field Training Sergeant assigned to their shift. The program itself is supervised by an Administrative Lieutenant who reports to an Administrative Captain. Number of trainees is no more than we have field training officers so, no more than 10 at a time.
