They have email addresses and class A, class B, and a polo (casual) uniforms.God bless

Participant1. Sworn Members retiring with twenty (20) or more years of full-time Service with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, who retire under the FRS and pursuant to FSS 112.193, may also request:
a. An Osceola County Sheriff’s Office “Retired” member I.D. card.
b. An Osceola County Sheriff’s Office duty badge indicating “Retired.”
c. His/her issued handgun if current in required training, unless declined or not eligible.
d. Sworn members with thirty (30) or more years of full-time Service with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office may be given his/her issued shotgun if current in required training, unless declined or not eligible.2. Yes, all weapons and ammunition must be inspected and approved and members proven proficiency.

ParticipantWe return all firearms inside the building, in the Evidence Viewing Room. Both firearm and ammunition are returned at the same time. A gun lock is placed on the firearm and the key to the lock is also provided to the individual during the appointment. The firearm box is opened to show them what firearm they are getting back, but are told to not open the box again until they get into their vehicle. The Evidence Viewing Room is also video recorded.

Everything else that has SO patches etc. is cut up/destroyed before being tossed out.Jess

Participant1. An annual inventory consisting of a partial accounting of no less than five percent (5%) of Evidentiary Items and five percent (5%) of Non-Evidentiary Items, along with a full accounting of the vault, shall be conducted by the Evidence Unit Supervisor and a designee of the Sheriff. The written report by the Evidence Unit Supervisor shall be forwarded to the Sheriff or designee. {CFA 27.13}
Our last inventory was conducted 12/20/24. There were approximately 197,749 items stored and 30, 417 items were inventoried which reflects approximately 15.38%.
