Below is what is stated in our Juvenile Operations policy:
c. Interrogations of Juveniles in custody shall not be conducted by more than two (2) interviewers at one (1) time, and shall not exceed ten (10) hours per day unless extended by specific directive of a Captain or above. The exact duration of the interview or interrogation and the number of members present during an interview shall be governed by the severity and nature of the crime under investigation. Juveniles being interviewed or interrogated shall be given breaks when necessary for food, water, and/or use of the restroom.
d. Interviews and interrogations of Juveniles at school should be kept to a minimum. If such interviews are necessary, the sworn member should:
(1). When practical, coordinate all on-campus activity with the SRO, if an SRO is assigned to the school.
(2). Coordinate all on-campus activity with the principal or assistant principal if the school does not have an SRO.
(3). Request an objective school staff member to be present during any questioning if a Parent or Guardian cannot be present and the Juvenile requests someone to be present.
(4). Notify the appropriate school staff and the Parent or Guardian if the Juvenile is to be Taken into Custody and removed from the school.God bless,

Osceola County Sheriff’s OfficeThe Evidence Unit gets called out anytime there is money more than $10,000 found on scene. We use our money counter, Allison Cummins, to count everything while 2 people are present.
For the drug cases, our agents will record it with their camera/BWC, collect and package it, with 2 members sealing the bag. The money is then transported back to Evidence uncounted. When they get here, we will run it through the money counter. Having the video covers them from liability.
