At the JAC in Bay County, juveniles will not be accepted into the facility, nor transferred to a holding area, unless a completed complaint affidavit and screening form are provided.

In cases involving a string of burglaries, it is typical to book the juvenile on a single complaint and direct-file the remaining affidavits. Additionally, we utilize a cloud-based affidavit system that allows the charging deputy to complete the affidavit and screening packet while an assisting deputy transports.

This system also provides pre-defined probable cause templates for specific charges, enabling deputies to efficiently add the necessary details to establish the essential elements of the offense.

We have tried to make the best of it, however the expectations are time consuming with dealing with juveniles going to the JAC.

We use Police Law Institute which our LE Members log in and complete monthly. They provide us with documentation of every course which counts toward the mandatory retraining for FDLE.

We have a mobile field kitchen equip with flat top grill, burners, deep fryer, microwave, prep station, and commercial fridge / freezer for disaster deployments. We normally staff it with one cook and one assistant on a 8-12 hour shift to prepare and serve approx 25 member alpha/bravo shift. Any other questions feel free to reach out.
