Our agency has changed production equipment, and is looking to sell the Aero Nano Cut Plus. The machine is in great working order and would make a great cutter for business cards, trading cards, etc. $2000

    More info:
The AeroCut Nano plus is the entry level model for cutting and slitting operations. It comes as standard with 2 single and 2 double slitter blades. These blades can be easily adjusted and secured using Uchida’s patented InstaSet bar technology.
The operator is able to change jobs very quickly in the knowledge that production accuracy will be retained. As well as the standard InstaSet bar formats, the cutters can be manually adjusted for specific job sizes.

The patented InstaSet bar makes job change extremely easy and quick. Change from Business cards to post cards to A4, A5, A6 etc. All standard format sizes can be finished quickly and accurately, you can also order bespoke InstaSet bars for your special non-standard jobs.

Using a cut register mark detection system on all models, the AeroCut Nano lead edge sensor will detect the position of the printed image on each individual sheet.

The machine adjusts itself automatically to produce extremely accurate cutting every time. This eliminates any waste from jobs that may suffer from image drift or inaccurate pre-cutting, ensuring that the job has a professional finish every time.

Threes weeks ago the FAO put out a notice that we were accepting applications for the CFA SRIC. There are four vacant police department seats to be filled. We have heard from some in the community that they did not see the notice but were interested in applying. As such, we will reopen the application process. The new deadline for applying is Monday, August 19th. SRIC members serve a term of three years, with the option to be reappointed for a second, three-year term.

The application is attached and is also available on our website, FLAccreditation.org. The minimum qualifications to apply are:
-3 years current CFA accreditation experience
-Agency currently CFA accredited, or with a signed agreement to pursue CFA accreditation on file
-CEO approval on the application to serve on the SRIC

Let us know if you have any questions or need additional information.

    Thank you for your interest,

Are any other agencies updating their policies based on HB 485 regarding the return of weapons following an arrest. In any event, whether you are updating your policy or you already have policy addressing this issue, would you please share your policy for review. Here is the link our agency received regarding this:

    Good evening everyone,

Does anyone’s agency utilize a “Request to Initiate the Dispute Resolution Process Form”?

This form would be for cases involving alleged policy violations. A sworn member may submit a written request using this form for a meeting with the Discipline Resolution Officer to discuss the resolution of the allegations and charges filed against them.

    Thank you for your input.

I am looking to see if any agency has recently consolidated their 911 communications center with another organization and if so, could we schedule a visit.

    Thanks,

    Good Afternoon,

Our Communications unit now has the ability to send outbound texts to unresponsive 911 calls from cell phones. Does anyone have anything in policy to address texting back unresponsive 911 cellular calls in lieu of calling back and leaving a voicemail? This would be for scenarios like “pocket dials.”

    Thank you!

Good morning, if your agency operates a Holding Area, do you process/book arrestees/detainees who are intoxicated (drug/alcohol) prior to transfer to a facility/or jail?

A simple, yes or do will suffice for now.

    Thank you
