Per our HDU Lt, “We have the SPOT robot in our bomb squad. We use it on bomb calls, SWAT operations and for static displays…we have used it at school functions. Currently, I do not believe that the PBC School Board Police Department has this piece of equipment.”

Per our VCD Sgt,
“1. 1 Lieutenant, 4 Sergeants, and 20 Detectives (not including civilian support staff).
2. Minimum Salary 4304 – Maximum Salary 6403
3. Homicide Detectives receive the same 5% assignment pay as other specialty unit detectives.
4. Detectives can be paid OT or accrue comp time.
5. Promotion is encouraged, but for the rank of Lieutenant and below, an agency promotion requires you to return to road patrol operations and re-apply for a new position.”Chelsea Smith
