Participant14.10.31 JEWELRY/ACCESSORIES: Female sworn members in uniform may wear earrings, but the style, size, or color shall not diminish the professional appearance of the uniform or reflect poorly on the police profession or the Department. In particular, earrings shall only be post type. Jewelry and accessories shall not be distracting, offensive, or hinder work functions.
1. Male members are prohibited from wearing earrings.
2. All earrings shall be worn only in the earlobes. Two (2) matching earrings are allowed per lobe. This is the breakdown of what NSBPD allows for sworn. Hope this helps.
