Good morning,
The excerpt from the Individual Vehicle Assignment Protocol Directive to address towing is
14.8.23 Members are prohibited from having any repairs, mechanical adjustments, or from making alterations to the vehicle, without authorization of the Chief of Police or designee.
1. Members shall not install, either inside or outside the vehicle, any personally or city owned equipment without written approval of the Division Commanding Officer prior to installation. Members may not install or use any trailer or vehicle towing equipment.

NSBPD14.10.31 JEWELRY/ACCESSORIES: Female sworn members in uniform may wear earrings, but the style, size, or color shall not diminish the professional appearance of the uniform or reflect poorly on the police profession or the Department. In particular, earrings shall only be post type. Jewelry and accessories shall not be distracting, offensive, or hinder work functions.
1. Male members are prohibited from wearing earrings.
2. All earrings shall be worn only in the earlobes. Two (2) matching earrings are allowed per lobe.This is the breakdown of what NSBPD allows for sworn. Hope this helps.
All road supervisors, detectives, and marine patrol officers were assigned to complete DIO training.
NSBPD
NSBPD has 57 sworn. Civilian accreditation manager reports directly to civilian Administrative Services Manager.
NSBPD has sent out the attached power point to officers for instructions on what and how to enforce in special event zone and during spring break.
The city with the police department instituted the attached curfew ordinance in response to spring break issues. Hopefully this helps.
