    Hi all,

I’m looking RPO policies, specifically police departments that would write the RPO but then their local sheriffs office would serve it. Also, if anyone has a sample of a receipt to the respondent or responsible party. Thank you!

    Good afternoon,

Our Officers write and file the affidavits for the RPO but either the Sheriff’s Office or NSB can execute it.

We can initiate them using forms in our county-wide affidavit system. Everything after the hearing is handled by the SO, including the return of firearms. If someone surrenders a firearm to us, we transfer it to the SO.
