ParticipantThe Explorer Advisor is a paid position. It is part of their duties as a Juvenile Relations Deputy. It’s either part of their regular schedule or paid OT/flex. The Boy Scouts of America handles the insurance I believe.

ParticipantBoth, as a redundancy. People are entitled to view their own personnel file, so for active employees, paper is still a must for us. We use FileBound software for the electronic files.

ParticipantThe small relevant section of our vehicle use policy is”
“Employees operating ACSO vehicles are prohibited from pushing or towing of any kind, unless in the execution of their official duties. Additionally, ACSO vehicles will not be used to push or tow another vehicle unless the vehicle is equipped with an authorized push bumper or such action is required to prevent loss of life or bodily injury.”
The whole policy is attached. Hope this helps!
