    All-
    Looking for policies relating to the Sheriff’s (Police) Explorer Programs

    If compensation is offered for agency members who coordinate/advise in the program (is it strictly volunteer or are members paid OT or Comp Time?)

    What insurance coverage do you provide for the participating youth?

    The Explorer Advisor is a paid position. It is part of their duties as a Juvenile Relations Deputy. It’s either part of their regular schedule or paid OT/flex. The Boy Scouts of America handles the insurance I believe.
