    Good Morning and Happy Friday!
    If your agency has a directive which states the maximum hours a sworn member may work in a 24-hour period and/or week, to include their regular shift, overtime, and details, I would really appreciate a copy.

    17 hours in a 24 hour period and 64 hours per week. See attached!

    Below is what is stated in our Off-Duty Details policy. We hope this is helpful:) God bless

    The agency shall impose a maximum allowable limit of seventy (70) hours
    per week of any combination of scheduled duty time plus Off-Duty Detail
    hours.
    (1). Authorized leave may be used to increase Off-Duty Detail time, hour
    for hour.
    (2). The Human Resource Section and the Off-Duty Detail Coordinator will
    monitor the hour limit. Violations shall be handled as an administrative
    action in section 4(O) of this policy.
    (3). Members who elect to take approved authorized leave to increase
    their Off-Duty Detail hours shall not exceed the maximum allowable
    limit normally calculated for that particular week.
    (4). Members shall not work more than sixteen (16) hours of Off-Duty
    Details during a scheduled day off (RDO, PTO, Holidays, etc.).
    (5). Members working a sixteen (16) hour shift on a day off, shall take an
    eight (8) hour rest period prior to working another Off-Duty Detail.
