How is everyone handling the Lethality Assessment Questions that will need to be asked on certain calls for service. The statute says the Department will supply the form of questions. That being said they have listed the questions. Is it up to each department to create a form with the Lethality Assessment questions or is the Department going to send out a uniform form for departments to use?
We have been using a Lethality Assessment Program since 2009, so we are continuing to use our own form for now. If the Department creates a form for use, we will review and consider modifying or adopting their form as needed.
