Good afternoon,
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with LD Consulting to host the Law Enforcement Inspections and Auditing Course #LEIA-101 in Bradenton, FL. This course provides a basic understanding of inspections, audit guidelines, writing an audit plan, formatting reports, risk assessments, and statistical sampling. This course is for both sworn and non-sworn professionals, and all disciplines. The class will take place April 15-17, 2025. We also will be hosting the certification course, LEIA-201, November 17-20, 2025.
**I personally have taken both courses and I highly recommend them! You will receive all of the sample audit documentation for a complete audit plan, as well as an already set up excel spreadsheet to complete statistical sampling calculations. The statistical sampling spreadsheet can be used for CFA 27.13M, FCAC 14.12M, as well as other inspections throughout your agency.
