Please share if your agency has a policy on an arrested current Law Enforcement Officer, Corrections Officer, elected official, or current staff member. What are the procedures after arrest, booking, and housing.

newly arrested inmates but shall not have any contact with any other inmate.1. Special care shall be taken for this status of arrestee to ensure that all staff is aware of the need to keep the arrestee separate from other inmates. This
shall be accomplished through documented pass-on, tagging of the inmate contact card as “PC” (protective custody), and by written report to the
Classification Unit.
