We use metal ribbons and corresponding circular pins. That way there is a uniform option and a civilian attire option. Employees can wear either depending on how they are dressed. This also allows civilians who are not issued a uniform to wear their award for those types of awards civilians are eligible to receive. The company we use is Entenmann-Rovin.
