We are looking at revamping our Department Awards program and would like to know how your Department displays their awards in uniform. Do you use cloth or metal ribbons? Do you authorize the wearing of the ribbons on your everyday work uniform and/or your Class A uniform? Which vendor do you use to purchase your ribbons? Thank you for any feedback

At Clearwater PD we use metal ribbons and only displayed on the Class A uniform. Our vendor is Municipal Emergency Services (M.E.S.) and our contact is Emily Gregson at 877-637-3473.

Osceola County Sheriff’s OfficeWe use metal ribbons and corresponding circular pins. That way there is a uniform option and a civilian attire option. Employees can wear either depending on how they are dressed. This also allows civilians who are not issued a uniform to wear their award for those types of awards civilians are eligible to receive.
