We have this in our Rules and Regulations

When an off-duty employee becomes involved with another law enforcement agency as a victim or witness in any investigation of any violation of law, excluding non-criminal traffic infractions, the employee will notify the on-duty or on-call commander at the earliest time possible during or immediately after the contact. The commander will notify the Internal Affairs Unit, when necessary.

If an employee becomes involved with another law enforcement agency during any investigation as a detainee, suspect, or arrestee, the on-duty or on-call commander will be notified immediately during the contact with the other law enforcement agency. The commander will respond to the scene, where practical. The commander will notify the Internal Affairs Unit.
    a. If the employee is unable to contact the commander during the investigation, the employee shall request for the law enforcement agency to make contact.
    b. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure the Department is aware of any arrest/detention immediately after release

I know it’s a popular conference/hotel, but sold out in less than three hours? Can this be accurate?
