    Good afternoon,

    Our policy states: “Fingernails (male) will be conservatively trimmed to no longer than the tip of the finger. Fingernails or acrylic nails (female) will be conservatively trimmed to no longer than one quarter inch past the tip of the finger. Only neutral fingernail polish may be worn.

    We do not have a policy on Medical Marijuana use for New Hires.

    The PBSO is a Drug-Free Workplace and has a management obligation to ensure a safe work environment and to protect the public trust and the integrity of the PBSO. The PBSO has adopted this Order to ensure employee fitness for duty as a condition of ongoing employment, and provide for the employees’ acknowledgement of testing as a requirement for employment.
