The Sheriff’s signature is required for the “bond card” but not the employees. We also used to carry ID cards (key cards) and a bond card, but have consolidated into one card. See attached policy.

Yes, we do accept it, but we prefer for them to leave it at home. It goes into their property and is not used. See attached policy.

Law Enforcement FTO’s who are training deputy sheriffs and Forensics Trainers are paid $30.00 per daily observation report while actively training. FTO’s for Detention Officers and Field Service Technicians are paid $50 extra a pay period, regardless of whether they have a trainee. Communications Trainers are paid $25.00 extra a pay period regardless of whether they have a trainee. There’s more for when actively training and also incentives for supervisors who have people training on their shifts. See attached policy.
