Good afternoon,
What does your agency use to “flag” or indicate someone having PTSD in your Master Name Index and/or CAD?
Our agency utilizes a signal code for Mentally Ill Persons as a descriptor or to convey a history of mental illness noted in the call.
The signal is not used as a descriptor for Alzheimer’s diesase or related disorders, Austims SPectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or Down Syndrome.
The signal is not used as an original call class, but as a note within the call.Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office
