Does your agency maintain paper or digital personnel files?
Currently, we rely on paper files for personnel records, and our method of maintaining paper files is becoming increasingly cumbersome due to space limitations. If your agency utilizes digital files, what is your backup plan in case of a system failure?
Both, as a redundancy. People are entitled to view their own personnel file, so for active employees, paper is still a must for us. We use FileBound software for the electronic files.
