Fees & Inmate Request Forms

I hope this finds you well on this beautiful Friday morning. I have a few questions from my team here at Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Corrections Department. If you have a moment to respond – your input would be greatly appreciated.

Inmate Request Forms:
We are in the process of changing our electronics program in the jail…visitation, tablets, email, reading material, etc.

1. Does your agency utilize tablets/kiosk for inmate requests, sick call, etc.
2. If yes, what parameters have you set?
3. Have you had any issues with those parameters?

Fees:
We are reviewing our fee schedule.
1. Felony Registration…. What do you charge for registration, and how are these funds collected. ( We charge $50 for the initial registration, it is cash or a money order )
2. Inmate Disciplinary Report fees…. We have been told other agencies charge a fee for in jail violations. What dollar amount do you charge and how are the funds collected? ( Can you send me information on which agency does that? I like the idea)
3. What do you charge for Booking fees and daily subsistence fees? ( We charge a $20 booking fee and $1.65 admin pack fee )
