(1)A. A deputy may be awarded their agency issued primary handgun or, for command staff, their optional carry handgun upon meeting these requirements:
1. All elements under FSS 112.193 and any future amendments; and
2. Retiring in good standing from PBSO and
3. Having met the normal retirement requirements for the Special Risk Class as defined by FRS for the FRS Pension Plan, regardless of the deputy’s retirement plan.
(2) Yes our deputies are able to carry a secondary weapon.
